Frustration Intolerance and Impulsivity is a common issue with adolescent dogs, they start to react without thinking, or redirecting their frustration onto other people or dogs. This can come across as being 'occasionally' reactive whereas its actually a build up of frustration and arousal levels.

In the F.I.T classes we teach dogs to regulate their own emotions using play and high/low impulse exercises. During the 4 weeks we cover:

- Managing your dogs stress bucket and arousal

- Use high and low arousal exercises to teach dogs to control their Impulsivity around food and toys

- How to lower frustration in the moment and how to channel frustration healthy

- Building your dogs tolerance of frustration stress free

- How to incorporate frustration and Impulsivity games in obedience

- How to teach a solid leave, and stop

- Be able to control impulsivity around other dogs and people

Please note the main purpose of these classes is not socialisation, and if your dog cant be around other dogs or people 1:1s will be better suited.

If your unsure whether your dog would fit in please arrange a free assessment call
