Service Description

Scentwork has many benefits for you dog, it is mentally and physically tiring for dogs so is a great for dogs that have too much energy or too excitable. Allowing dogs to sniff can help build confidence in nervous dogs and puppies. Scentwork Club is available to all dogs from people just starting to people wanting to develop their skills further and is an affordable way to include an activity that both you and your dog will enjoy. Scentwork is accessible to all dogs big and small, young and old, and you can progress through the levels at your dogs pace. We use force free techniques and follow UKCSD methodology for teaching dogs Scentwork to minimize the chances of stress and maximise the chances of fun! During the workshops dogs work 1 at a time and are open to dogs of all ages and breeds, meaning even excitable and scared dogs can join in the fun! During the introduction your dog will learn; - Build a classical conditioning with the targeted ordor - Play choice games to introduce indications - Introduction to searching for the targeted ordor What you learn; - Handling techniques for onlead searches - How to tell if your dog has found a source - How to introduce Scentwork into daily life. On completion there is the option to continue progression with College 4 Canines Scentwork Club As a member of the Scentwork Club you get; - 1 x 1 hour monthly workshop where you can choose the date - Access to a private Facebook Community for support, advice or just to show off! - Monthly individual targets set to help you and your dog progress - Option to send through videos for feedback All of this for just £50 per month Denise is a Scentwork Instructor and Accredited Detective Dog Handler through The UK College of Scent Dogs, learning from one of the best in the world in Scentwork. https://www.ukcsd.com/about

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel the Program within 14 days after booking your package, in which case the package fee will be refunded, provided your first appointment isn’t within 7 days of the cancellation. If you cancel the program after 14 days of booking or within 7 days of your first consultation, you will forfeit the cost of the first consultation in full as advertised on our website at the time without any package discount. You may request a change in appointment dates or times prior to 7 days of the appointment, if the appointment is canceled within 7 days, no replacement appointment or refund will be offered. After the first 14 days of signing up to a package, any refund requests received will be calculated based on the full cost of the sessions already used without package discount (inc package specific discount codes) and a refund of any sessions, not within 7 days will be refunded.
