£240 for 6 sessions

Specialist dog training sessions are home based one on one sessions. These sessions are available to all dogs and allow dogs that aren't quite ready for class environment and can provide them with the all important skills they require.

Please note that these sessions are not designed for reactive dogs, sessions for reactive dogs may cost more.

Two of the most common problems are loose lead walking and recall. With these sessions we will teach you games to play to get and maintain your dogs attention, and make your dog think you are the best thing in the world to them. You will receive a full training pack which includes different games to play and also different techniques to use.

Loose Lead Walking

When dogs pull on the leash when walking, it can make walks more frustrating than relaxing. But, pulling on a leash can be very rewarding to a dog, as long as they are pulling they are moving forward. If a dog is pulling then it means they aren't paying attention to you.
Our loose leash training package allows us to assess what is motivating the dog to want to pull. Our sessions are jam packed with different games to play with your dog to gain their attention using positive training and to make them want to walk on a loose leash.

Recall

Recall has always been the hardest thing to teach dogs, after all that bush, the dog at the opposite side of the field or that person walking past can all be more excitable than us.
Recall is a very important command for dogs to learn as it means they can be let off leash to run and play, and can allow them to socialize with other dogs.

Floyd's traing went very well. Denice made it easy for us to bond and train him. By helping us to understand how a dog thinks and what is best for the family and our dog Weekly training notes were very useful to remind you of what you need to do with the dog on a daily basis . I would recommend this type of training to everyone.

I can't thank Denise enough for her approach to trading for Merida our then 6 month Border Collie. The trading notes were very helpful. Merida is now 9 months and continues to make excellent progress,

Would like to say a huge thank you to Denise for helping Myla (our 18 month lab) be prepared for her little human brother arriving in Jan. we’ve had 10 sessions and Myla has enjoyed all of them she’s had lots of fun learning. Not only has she learnt some fun tricks like putting her toys away, closing cupboard doors, weaving through the legs and touch but also some things for calming her down and staying. She’s also learnt things like her knowing her toys from baby’s and walking with the parm. Even family members have commented on how much quicker she calms now. Denise always spends time talking through why we would do certain behaviours and rewards with Myla. Would highly recommend to anyone it’s been fantastic and it’s amazing seeing how much fun Myla has learning and it’s a bonus she’s so tired after her lessons.
